Nanga Parbat (the Naked Mountain) gloats a long history of unsuccessful climbing endeavors and catastrophes; thus it came to be known as the killer mountain. It rises tall at 8,126 meters over sea level out of the Himalayas in Diamer Locale of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
